WRAHP hosted a 3-day training on Access to Justice for Women and Girls Living with Disabilities Survivors against sexual and gender-based violence in Ebonyi state.

This training supported by the African Women’s Development Fund is part of our efforts to ensure that persons living with disabilities, especially women and girls, advocate for their rights to be free from violence, and rights violations and demand a more inclusive justice system that caters to their unique needs.

We are building the capacity of 40 Persons Living with Disabilities (PWDs) across Abakaliki, Afikpo, Ebonyi, and Ikwo Local Government Areas to effectively report issues of SGBV in their communities.

As part of our efforts to amplify the voices of women and girls living with Disabilities against Sexual and Gender based violence, WRAHP Nigeria held an advocacy meeting with High Stakeholders in Lagos State with the support of The African Women Development Fund (AWDF)
